Grandmoor Inc. ("Grandmoor," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at grandmoor.ca (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
We collect information in two main ways:
When you submit the Contact form, the Qualify questionnaire, or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect your name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, company location, and details about your warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics needs that you choose to share with us.
Like most websites, the Site automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs. We do not sell your personal information.
If you provide your mobile phone number and check the SMS consent box on our Contact form, Grandmoor may send you text messages related to your inquiry, quote requests, and updates about our warehousing and logistics services.
We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We use Google Tag Manager, which may enable cookies or similar tracking technologies to help us understand how visitors use the Site. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may affect how parts of the Site function. Third-party services we embed or load, such as Google Maps and any tools deployed through Google Tag Manager, are subject to their own privacy policies and cookie practices, which we do not control.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
If you go on to become a customer, information you provide may also be used in connection with your service agreement, as described in that agreement.
We retain personal information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain a record of our communications, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request that we correct inaccurate information, and withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11 below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
